Barbaraville Improvement Group

BIG which stands for the Barbaraville Improvement Group. You may not have heard of us, but we were formed in the late 1990’s to try and improve facilities in the village with the main goal of providing a playpark for the village. With a lot of hard work and fund raising by a lot of people we developed a community facility that many of the kids in the area enjoy. We also built the picnic areas, ran village dances and organised various events. However we continue today in a very limited capacity maintaining the park providing flower barrels etc.
